Presentation | Video Recording

On May 19th attendees joined SESWA to learn how an abandoned, flood prone, 100-year-old bus station was transformed into a stormwater retention system offering 21st century ecological benefits.  The Greyline Station in Lexington, KY sits on 5-acres and is now the site of an award-winning project that demonstrates sustainable stormwater management using a combination of municipal grant funding and private investments. This presentation provided an overview of the project, how it was funded, and share lessons learned.
