The 14th Annual Regional Stormwater Conference was held at the Chattanooga Marriott Downtown in Chattanooga, Tennessee on October 9-11, 2019. It’s the only regional conference focused solely on stormwater education and challenges that confront stormwater professionals in the public and private sectors.  Attendees were eligible for up to 12 continuing education credits.

Who Attended?
The Conference was designed for local, state and federal stormwater managers and regulators; developers and land use planners; civil/environmental engineers and landscape architects; environmental professionals and consultants; environmentalists and interested citizens.

Registration Discounts, Deadlines, and Refunds
The registration fee included all course materials, unlimited access to your choice of two concurrent session tracks, continuing education credits, access to the exhibit hall, two breakfasts, three breaks, a reception and a lunch. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and checks were accepted.

Early Registrations: Registrations on or before August 2, 2019 received the early-bird discount.
SESWA Members: SESWA Members received discounted registration rates.

The deadline to register online was September 20, 2019.

Refunds (minus a $25 processing fee) were given for cancellations received in writing prior to September 20, 2019. After that date, SESWA  purchased materials on your behalf so we could not provide a refund.

Continuing Education

Attendees were eligible for up to 12 continuing education credits on an hour per hour basis; 2.5 credits for the optional pre-conference workshop and up to 9.5 credits for the conference.  Please refer to the Agenda for detailed information on credits available per session. Professional Engineers, Certified Floodplain Managers and anyone requesting a certificate of attendance were eligible for credits based on the sessions attended. SESWA offers continuing education for Professional Engineers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.  Of these states, Florida and North Carolina require that continuing education providers be approved in advance.  SESWA is an approved provider for Florida (#0004288) and North Carolina.

Hotel Information

  • Conference Hotel - The conference was held at the Chattanooga Marriott Downtown.  The address is Two Carter Plaza, Chattanooga, TN 37402.  The discounted SESWA rate was $159/night
  • Alternate Hotel - The conference hotel was sold out so we coordinated with the Courtyard Chattanooga Downtown to provide additional rooms. The address is 200 Chestnut Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402; just 0.6 miles from the Convention Center. The discounted SESWA room rate was $159/night. 

Self-parking for SESWA attendees at the hotel was discounted to $11/day and valet parking was $15/day.
