The 13th Annual Regional Stormwater Conference was held at the Hilton Head Marriott Resort & Spa in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina on October 3-5, 2018.  This is the only regional conference focused solely on stormwater education and challenges that confront stormwater professionals in the public and private sectors.  Attendees were eligible for up to 16 continuing education credits.

Who Attended?

The Conference was designed for local, state and federal stormwater managers and regulators; developers and land use planners; civil/environmental engineers and landscape architects; environmental professionals and consultants; environmentalists and interested citizens.

Registration Discounts, Deadlines, and Refunds

The registration fee included all course materials, unlimited access to two concurrent session tracks, continuing education credits, access to the exhibit hall, two breakfasts, three breaks, a reception and a lunch.

Continuing Education

Attendees that submitted paperwork onsite will receive up to 16 continuing education credits on an hour per hour basis; 3 credits for the optional, pre-conference workshop and up to 13 credits for the conference.  Please refer to the agenda in your conference notebook for detailed information on credits available per event.  SESWA offers continuing education for Professional Engineers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.  Of these states, Florida and North Carolina require that continuing education providers be approved in advance.  SESWA is an approved provider for Florida (#0004288) and North Carolina.

Hotel Information

The Conference was held at the Hilton Head Marriott Resort & Spa located at One Hotel Circle, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina 29928.  SESWA contracted with the hotel to set aside sleeping rooms for all conference delegates at a $159/night discounted rate.

Parking

Self-parking at the hotel was free and valet parking was $18 per day.
