Service Project
SESWA's second Stormwater Service Project allowed SESWA members to participate in an eco-friendly stormwater-focused service project on Hilton Head Island. Participants bagged recycled oyster shells to be used in shoreline protection and artificial reef projects around Hilton Head Island. The Service Project took place near the Coastal Discovery Museum on Wednesday, October 5th from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. All project materials were provided, and there was no cost to participate. A special thanks to the Outside Foundation and the City of Hilton Head Island for supporting this effort! Event Safety Guidelines The health and safety of all visitors to SESWA events remains our top priority. We closely monitor government mandates and policy changes, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and public health advancements. As information pertaining to the virus continues to develop, we will adjust our approach as needed and keep you up to date with new developments to ensure a coordinated effort and a safe environment for all SESWA attendees.
