Streamlining Outreach Programs through Collaboration
May 6, 2020 / 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)

SESWA’s next Spotlight Webinar will highlight a collaborative outreach program partnership in South Carolina. The City of Columbia and Richland County are medium MS4s with different permit requirements but they work together on outreach programs to reduce E. Coli and nutrient loads and expand their reach. Their collaboration allows them to share resources, meet permit requirements, and develop effective outreach programs. At the end of this presentation attendees will be able to identify ways to pool staff and budget resources with other municipalities, create professional networks to broaden the scope of outreach projects, and develop collaborations that will ensure residents hear a consistent message.
