The Southeast Stormwater Association
The Southeast Stormwater Association (SESWA) was formed in late 2004 to assist professionals in the public and private sectors as they seek to address problems associated with surface water quality and quantity in EPA, Region 4. SESWA’s boundaries are co-terminus with those of EPA, Region 4 and include the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
SESWA’s purpose is:
- To conduct training and educational programs such as workshops, seminars and conferences for professional staff and elected officials.
- To research, compile and distribute information about stormwater management, flooding, best management practices and policies, water quality, and the creation/operation of stormwater utilities and other financing mechanisms.
- To monitor the decision-making processes of regulatory agencies in the region as they relate to the interests of stormwater managers.
- To promote and enhance the effective management and operation of stormwater management systems.
Please contact us if you have any question concerning SESWA.
